~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Aubrey’s Thoughts~~
5 out of 5 ‘It just gets better & better’ Stars
So I’m still not a fan of series…..only because they make me wait. Especially a series like this where the next book is a continuation in the story. But this story….this story….this will stay with me for a little while. Starting to read the first few pages and it was like slipping between the sheets after you just pulled them from the dryer. It makes you feel all warm and safe and loved. *sigh* That feeling never gets old.
We pick right back up where we left off in the last book and it was easy for me to remember what was going on (so you know I enjoyed the previous book because I read so many damn books sometimes they are similar. This book? Not so much – and I mean that in the best way possible. ANYway, if you didn’t already love Kazimir and Violet, (I don’t know why) then you most definitely will love them after this. Their love is tested in so many ways throughout the story. True love will stand the test of time. There were things I didn’t see coming- like at all. But I really think that I never saw it coming because I didn’t have time to focus on anything else except what was currently happening. Other times I can read a book and get bored and try to figure out what is going to happen next. Bored? With Kaz and Violet? Never.
But I am curious if some of the secondary characters will get their own stories…Konstatin perhaps?? I would love to read about him. But if your looking for a kick-ass mafia romance– and not just any mafia. The Bratva. (Mmmmmm- I seriously need to find a Russian guy who can whisper to me in Russian.) Get this. Read it. Love it.
Happy Reading!!
