~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Aubrey’s Thoughts~~
4 out of 5 ‘Second chance loving’ Stars
This book was super cute and fun. And even though this is a second book in a series, it can definitely be read as a standalone. I loved the witty banter between Zoey and Ryder. The sexual tension between the two provided a lot of lust filled scenes but don’t get it twisted–this was definitely a closed door bedroom scene kinda book.
The history between Zoey and Ryder goes back to a one time fling they both had where Ryder was a major penis and left the next morning without saying a word; leaving Zoey to mouth WTF a gazillion times to herself. Of course this leaves a girls with major insecurities (thanks a lot Ryder) but also resolve not to put herself in that situation again.
Seeing Zoey again reminds Ryder of what a huge dummy he is for leaving a girl like her behind. But I also felt like because Ryder wasn’t professionally snowboarding because he was out on a medical leave, it helped him focus on things that were important. Ahem….mainly the woman he walked away from months prior. There trials and tribulations that test their newfound relationship but they’ve come this far, right?
So if you want to read a cute contemporary romance then pick this up!!
Happy Reading!!
